YES!!! What a brilliant concept for a Halloween mask. Who would ever think to do a mask of Frankenstein from the Dick Briefer comic books??? Ingenious. And an awesome sculpt, too, by the way.

Thanks Bryan! I did this guy 5 years ago in oil clay . I need to mold it. I have a few original issues . Just love Briefer.

Oh gosh, 5 years ago? Well I guess I never saw that photo till now! There are books that have come out, which have reprinted the entire Briefer Frankenstein series in one volume. I think the whole series has been released twice, by two different publishers. There was one small company that put it out in a softcover/ trade paperback a few years back, obviously a small run by a small operation... but the quality was good and the interior page reproductions looked fine. Then more recently a "real publisher" must have acquired the rights and put it out in a more impressive hardcover edition. But I think you can find both versions still out there easily... I've got the earlier one... Briefer's run is not actually that many issues so the whole thing fits in one volume, and the prices are reasonable.
